# Accidentally selected the wrong language on the device. How do I change it?

If you selected the wrong language by mistake, you can easily update it in device settings.

2. Select the second option from the bottom with the ‘i’ symbol

3. Select the first option in the Menu with the globe symbol ![](https://cdn.document360.io/145d3e98-f261-4647-862d-3fcef675637b/Images/Documentation/image(165).png)
4. Select the second option in the Language & Input menu

5. Select the ‘+’ symbol for language options

6. Select the appropriate Language from the menu

Alternatively, you can also reset the M400 to its factory default settings to restore the default language to English(United States)
