QUICK START

Use this guide to go from unboxing to your first successful Pick and Pack demo.

Note: Wi-Fi is not required to run the Pick and Pack demo workflows.

Get started in 10 minutes

  • Step 1: Unbox the kit - Confirm that you have the device, accessories, and printed materials.

  • Step 2: Power on the device - Put on the glasses and power them on.

  • Step 3: Complete device setup - Follow the prompts for initial device setup and basic navigation.

  • Step 4: Launch Mobilium - From the main menu, open the bundled Mobilium demo application.

  • Step 5: Choose a workflow - Select a workflow from the Mobilium home screen. Best first demo: Pick Assist.

  • Step 6: Open the flipbook - Go to the correct page range for your selected workflow and scan the pages in order.

  • Step 7: Complete the workflow - When the workflow is finished, it automatically returns to the main menu so you can start another demo.

Recommended first-run path

  • Start with Pick Assist

  • Then try Goods Receipt or Bin Audit

  • Save Pack Assist and Pallet Build for later runs

FLIPBOOK GUIDE

The flipbook is the barcode guide used to drive each demo workflow.

The flipbook-driven demo workflows do not require Wi-Fi connectivity.

How the flipbook works

  • Each workflow uses a specific range of pages in the booklet.

  • Scan the barcode pages in sequence and follow the prompts shown in the glasses display.

  • The flipbook simulates operational scans so users can experience the workflow logic without live warehouse labels, bins, cartons, or product.

Workflow page ranges

  • Pick Assist: pages 4-6

  • Goods Receipt: pages 7-11

  • Pack Assist: pages 12-16

  • Pallet Build: pages 17-20

  • Bin Audit: pages 21-27

How to use it

  • Open Mobilium

  • Select a workflow

  • Open the flipbook to that workflow’s pages

  • Scan the pages in order

  • Follow the on-screen guidance

  • Complete the workflow and allow it to return to the main menu automatically

Tips for best results

  • Hold each page steady

  • Keep the barcode fully visible

  • Use good lighting

  • Follow the page instructions in order

  • Restart from the first page if needed

DEMO WORKFLOWS

Each workflow is designed to demonstrate a different warehouse use case.

Pick Assist

  • What it shows: Guided picking with location and item confirmation.

  • Flipbook pages: 4-6

  • What to expect: Scan the location and item on each page to move through the pick task. When complete, the workflow returns to the main menu.

  • Why it matters: Shows how guided picking can support consistent execution and help reduce picking errors.

Goods Receipt

  • What it shows: PO-based receiving with normal receiving and expired-item handling.

  • Flipbook pages: 7-11

  • What to expect: Run one standalone receiving sequence for accepted cases and one standalone receiving sequence that triggers expired-item handling. When each sequence is complete, the workflow returns to the main menu.

  • Why it matters: Shows how a receiving workflow can guide inbound verification and surface exceptions.

Pack Assist

  • What it shows: Guided packing with order/carton loading and item verification.

  • Flipbook pages: 12-16

  • What to expect: Scan the order/carton page first, then scan the item pages in sequence. When complete, the workflow returns to the main menu.

  • Why it matters: Shows how guided packing can support accuracy and process consistency.

Pallet Build

  • What it shows: Guided case-to-pallet assignment for outbound staging.

  • Flipbook pages: 17-20

  • What to expect: Scan the case pages and follow the pallet assignment shown in the display. One sequence demonstrates wrong-case handling. When complete, the workflow returns to the main menu.

  • Why it matters: Shows how workers can be guided to the correct pallet destination during outbound handling.

Bin Audit

  • What it shows: Guided bin verification with mismatch detection.

  • Flipbook pages: 21-27

  • What to expect: Scan bin and item pages in sequence. One sequence demonstrates a mismatch and follow-up action. When complete, the workflow returns to the main menu.

  • Why it matters: Shows how guided audit workflows can support inventory verification and exception detection.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Use the steps below if a workflow does not behave as expected.

Barcode will not scan

  • Hold the page steady

  • Improve lighting

  • Move slightly closer or farther away

  • Make sure the full barcode is visible

  • Retry the scan from a stable position

Wrong workflow opened

  • Return to the main menu and start the correct workflow.

  • Then open the matching page range in the flipbook.

Flipbook sequence seems off

  • Go back to the first page for that workflow and restart the sequence.

Device is not connected to Wi-Fi

  • Wi-Fi is not required to run the Pick and Pack demo workflows.

  • If you are only running the demo, you can continue without connecting to a network.

App will not launch

  • Return to the main menu and relaunch the bundled app.

Device does not return to the main menu after a workflow

  • If the workflow does not return to the main menu as expected, exit the current screen or relaunch the app before starting the next demo.

Display is hard to see

  • Reposition the device for a more comfortable view, then restart the demo.

Battery is low

  • Charge the device before running another workflow.

RESET THE KIT

Use these steps to prepare the kit for the next user.

Standard reset steps

  • Complete or exit the current workflow

  • Confirm the app is back at the main menu

  • Relaunch the app if needed

  • Return the flipbook to the beginning or index

  • Confirm the battery level

  • Confirm the next workflow to run

Ready-for-next-user checklist

  • The device is powered on

  • Mobilium is at the main menu

  • The flipbook is reset

  • The charger is available

  • The next user knows which pages to open

Restart the device if needed

  • The app becomes unresponsive

  • Scans stop behaving normally

  • The device remains in an unexpected state after completing or exiting a workflow

Goal

  • Each new user should be able to start with a clean, first-run experience.
