# How do I obtain the device log files using Vuzix View?

Follow these simple steps to capture your device logs:

1. Connect your device to your PC.
2. Open the Vuzix View application.
3. Once your device appears in the list, click the **VIEW** button. *Tip:* *For LX1 and M-Series devices, if it doesn’t appear on the list, make sure ADB is enabled on the device by going to****Settings → Connected Devices***
4. In Vuzix View, click **Actions** in the top menu.
5. Select **Capture Device Log**.
6. When a Windows Explorer window opens, choose a folder and **save the log file** to your preferred location.
