There are two ways to reset the device. From Settings or through the recovery menu option.
CAUTION: This will erase all the data from the device. This includes any applications, settings, and personal data on the device.
Please consult with your system administrator before performing this action!!!
OPTION 1: Settings
Open the Settings application on the device.

Select Personal option

Select Reset

Select Factory Reset

Select ‘YES’ when prompted, then the following message

Then select ‘ERASE EVERYTHING’

After the device reboots, it will open the Quick Start setup menu.
OPTION 2: Recovery Mode Factory Reset
Power off the Blade 2 (leave it for a few seconds to make sure that it is fully powered off).
Power on the device by pressing and holding the power button.
When the Vuzix “V” logo appears on the device, press and hold the power button for 8 more seconds and then release it. (This will get you into fastboot, and there will be multiple options.)
Swipe up until you have Recovery mode highlighted and press the power button to select it.

When you see a screen with an Android icon and the text “No command”. Press and hold the power button and use two fingers to swipe up on the touchpad.

This will get you to the recovery screen, swipe down to “Wipe data/factory reset” and again press the power button to select it.

Once the reset has finished, press the power button to select “Reboot system now”

After the device reboots, it will open the Quick Start setup menu.
