How to Factory Reset the M400 & M4000?
There are two options to reset the device. From Settings or through the recovery menu option.
CAUTION: This will erase all the data from the device. This includes any applications, settings, and personal data on the device.
Please consult with your system administrator before performing this action!!!!
Option 1: Settings
Open the Settings application on the device

Select Reset options

Select Erase all data (factory reset)

Select ERASE ALL DATA

Select ERASE ALL DATA once again.
Caution: This action cannot be undone!!!.png)
Option 2: Recovery Mode Factory Reset
Power down the M400.
(With the device unplugged) Hold the rear-most and middle button, then power on the device (this will boot the M400 to the Android recovery screen).

Use the front button to scroll down to “Wipe data/factory reset” and select the option with the power button.

In the next screen, using the front button, scroll down and select ”Factory data reset” and press the power button to confirm.
Caution: This will wipe all user data and factory reset the device!!!

The device will automatically return to the main recovery screen. At this point, select the first option using the power button to reboot the device.
After the device reboots, it will open the Quick Start setup menu.
