# Why do my pictures/videos not show up in the Companion App?

To troubleshoot issues loading pictures/videos in the companion app, confirm both the Vuzix Blade 2 and the companion app are updated to the latest release, then follow the recommendations specific to your device below:

For Android devices:

- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the mobile device and the Blade 2
- Ensure the Blade 2 is powered on and connected to the mobile device

For iOS devices:

- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the mobile device and the Blade 2
- Ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
- Ensure the Blade 2 is powered on and connected to the mobile device
