How to Register Your Device in the Vuzix App Store?

Overview

This guide explains how to register your device in the Vuzix App Store.
Registering your device links it to your App Store account, allowing you to install and manage applications, assign licenses, and receive app updates.

Step 1: Create an App Store Account

1. Go to the Vuzix App Store

2. Create a new account.

3. Log in using your credentials.

   

Step 2: Navigate to Device Registration

1. Select My Account

2. Click on My Devices

   

3. Select Add New Device

Step 3: Select Your Device

1. Choose the device you want to register from the list.

2. After selecting your device, a QR registration code will appear on the screen.
   

Note: Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi‑Fi network before proceeding.
Tip: For best results, we recommend updating your device to the latest software version prior to registration.

Step 4: Scan the QR Code

For M400 & M4000 devices:

1. Open the Scanner app on your device.
   

2. Scan the QR code shown on the screen.

   

For LX1 device:

1. Open the Camera app.
   

2. Switch to Scanner mode.
   

3. Scan the QR code.

Step 5: Register the Device

1. After scanning, select Register Device to Vuzix App Store on the device.

2. Once completed, you will be redirected back to the My Devices page.

3. Your device will now appear in the list.
